LACMA

The LACMA was a pretty fun time, except that I got there around 6pm, and they closed at 8pm. Also the Art Of The America's building wasn't open, and a few areas were closed as well. I took a few shots of the art I found most interesting. Sorry, I didn't get artist or art names, was in a rush. Enjoy!

  1. You have a lot of pictures. I really like the costume design shots. I did not go to that building but I wish I had. I missed seeing two art exhibit buildings; time was short. Anyway, the elaborate clothes displayed are ornate and beautiful. After viewing those shots, I reflect on a movie named, Amadeus, which is about the classical genuius, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. We have this movie, and I,especially, enjoy this movie because of the embellished clothes of this century.
I viewed the South and Southeast Asian art, too. Did you see that one wood sculpture that had three skulls chained to the leader? I wanted to take a picture of this one, although, it was an unclear image on my camera. I guess I envisioned he as like a king and they were his slaves. Should of read the history more closely. Anyways thought I would share.
