dood i saw this too it kinda dumb how everything is changing when it comes to raves...just imagine a pic from beyond at the main stage...past events u would see all the glove sets and this year it will be all dark...alot say its more about the music but i think glove sets and kandy are all apart of it too....nice blog setup dood nd keep up the postings about raves
You are 100% right about the light shows and kandy are a part of it. It's a very integral part of rave culture. It's what makes raving so different than any other kind of music event. There are so many people creating art through light shows and kandy. Taking that away is stripping the culture right out of raving. It seems that Insomniac is slowly moving away from the rave culture, and making it more of a clubbers event (alcohol, no led's, selling 90000 tickets to a venue that can comfortably hold 40000.. etc.. I wont stop going to Insomniac parties, but boy are they jabbing a thorn in my side...
